Companies often use an exit survey over multiple years and therefore we've included responses in this benchmark from surveys over multiple years to build the most robust possible. As this benchmark includes data from all customers that use Exit surveys, many different industries are included, from Automotive to E-Learning to Utilities.

Key insights and data for the People Geeks!
Insight: As people leave, we expect them to have negative opinions of their experiences, however they are not negative about everything. Surprisingly there are aspects of Alignment & Involvement as well as Development that standout. People are still reasonably positive about enablement, particularly whether they had access to things they needed, which makes sense given that it is not commonly a reason for leaving an organisation. On the other hand, a common reason for leaving - whether someone saw good career opportunities - was one of the lowest scoring questions of the benchmark.
