If you have employee start dates in Culture Amp, you can visualise how engagement curves as people progress their careers at your company.

This chart is on the account dashboard. It looks at a survey, calculates tenure for all participants, and plots out a line of engagement score versus tenure.

How are scores calculated within tenure buckets?

Each dot on the chart represents the average score for all participants within a tenure bucket. In the above example, there are 156 participants in the 0-6 month tenure bucket, with an average score of 77%. 

Can this chart look across multiple surveys at once?

Not yet. We’re working on enhancing it so it can aggregate and analyse data from multiple surveys, including experience surveys.

I can’t see the chart, how do I get it to appear?

The chart requires at least one engagement survey to have run and requires participants to have start dates in the data file. If you add start dates in to Culture Amp (via upload or HRIS sync), the chart should appear.


Why are some tenure buckets not available on my chart?

If a tenure bucket does not have a number of survey participants greater than the minimum reporting size, the tenure buckets will not be available on the chart. A survey must have at least 2 reportable tenure buckets to produce a line. 


What is the tenure benchmark?

The dotted line represents the Culture Amp general tenure benchmark.  This is an aggregated lifecycle engagement curve using all of Culture Amp's data.  Find out more about benchmarks here.
