This guide will help you grant access to the Retention Insights dashboard to another user on your account. Users with the Retention Insights role can access the Analytics dashboard, allowing them to see important insights about retention across your company.

Understanding Retention Insights access

Users with the Retention Insights role can view retention insights across your company via the Analytics dashboard tab.

Granting access

Account Admin users can assign access to existing users, using the steps below:

Log in as an Account administrator.

Click on Settings to access the Account Admin page.

In the sidebar under the Account section, select Analytics.

Use the drop-down menu to find the user and select Add User to assign the role.

Retention Insights can now be accessed by that user through the Analytics tab.

Note:

  • Users with the Retention Insights role can access retention information company-wide.

  • Granting this role helps others understand factors influencing why employee retention.

  • There's no difference in access between Admins and assigned users with this role.

  • It allows anyone to check Retention Insights without needing full admin rights.

Removing access

If you have provided a user who is not an account administrator access to the retention insights dashboard, removing them will be as simple as clicking Remove next to their name.

Log in as an Account administrator.

Click on Settings to access the Account Admin page.

In the sidebar under the Account section, select Analytics.

Click Remove next to the user you're hoping to remove the access for.

Tip: Account administrators are granted access by default, so you won’t see a 'Remove' button next to their name. To remove an administrator from the access list, you’ll need to first revoke their admin access via the Roles & Permissions page.

If you see an inactive administrator still listed, you may need to temporarily reactivate them on the Users page, remove their admin permissions, and then deactivate them again to fully remove them from the list.
