If you'd like to exclude specific employees from your Merge-based ADP integration, you can do so after the integration has been successfully set up. This can be done by utilizing a number of fields that Merge retrieves from your HRIS (Human Resource Information System) in question and mapping them to your own dataset.

Currently, the only field that can be used for exclusion is Employment Status. This means that if an existing users employment status matches the one you have set for exclusion, they will be made inactive during the next sync and marked as former users. If they are not already an existing user in Culture Amp, they will not be imported. This can be useful if you have employees who are no longer with the company or are on leave.

To set an exclusion based on employment status, follow these steps:

In Culture Amp click into your Data Integrations page.

Step 1. Click on the pencil icon

Step 2. Click on Manage exclusions

Step 3. Click Select Field Values… and begin typing the fields that you want to exclude by.

Note: The accepted fields are ACTIVE, INACTIVE and PENDING.

Step 3. Once done, click Save exclude
