Key Benefits
Explore Data offers the following benefits:
Efficient Data Exploration: Quickly access key metrics and insights within the PA platform.
Intuitive, Chat-Based Experience: Interact in a familiar, chat-like interface that makes it simple to explore data.
Comprehensive Knowledge Base: Gain access to PAâs extensive resources, including academic articles, blog posts, and more.
How to Access Explore Data
Navigate to any page on the People Analytics part of the Culture Amp platform.
Click the Explore Data button located in the bottom right corner of the screen.
A chat panel will open with suggested prompts and an input area where you can type your query.
How to Use the Explore Data Feature
Once the chat panel is open, you can start exploring data. Hereâs how:
Metrics
Ask questions related to specific metrics, such as:
âWhatâs the turnover rate?â
âWhatâs the turnover rate in Marketing?â
âWhatâs the turnover rate in Marketing in the last 30 days?â
Response Includes:
A text summary (up to 100 words)
A time stamp
Optional filters (if the prompt included department, location, team, gender, etc.)
A graph visualizing the data (see screenshot: Example of metric graph)
Suggestions for exploring metrics, insights and knowledge base.
For example, asking about specific metrics like "number of starters," providing time frames (e.g., "starters last week"), or specifying categories (e.g., "female number of starters") will yield responses with those metrics. If your question doesn't match any available metrics, Explore Data will pull an answer from the Knowledge Base.
Insights
Ask questions that seek deeper insights, such as:
âIs there a pay gap in my organization?â
âIs there a pay gap in Marketing?â
Response Includes:
A text summary
An Insight Card linking to the detailed insight (see screenshot: Insight card example)
Suggestions for exploring metrics, insights and knowledge base.
Note: Unlike metrics, insights do not show time stamps or filters in the response, but these factors are still considered if mentioned in the prompt.
Knowledge Base
For general questions, such as:
âHow can I decrease turnover rate?â
âWhat are the consequences of a significant pay gap?â
Response Includes:
A text summary
Up to 5 external links for further reading about the topic.
Suggestions for exploring metrics, insights and knowledge base.
This section is especially useful for "How to" or "What does it mean" queries. If your question doesn't align with available metrics or insights, the answer will be drawn from the Knowledge Base.
