Welcome to Culture Amp! To log in, you’ll need to be an active user in your organization’s Culture Amp account. If you're unsure whether you have access, reach out to your Account Admin (typically someone from your HR or People team) to confirm.

This guide walks you through how to sign in if your email address is used in more than one Culture Amp account: for example, across different brands, subsidiaries, or business units.

Early Access Program Notice

Multi-Account Login is currently available through our Early Access Program (EAP). To use this feature, your organization must be enrolled in the EAP. As it’s still in testing, there may be some limitations while we continue to fine-tune the experience. By participating, you can explore the feature early and share feedback before it becomes widely available. For any questions or help, just reply with "Ask a Person" in a support conversation to speak with a Product Support Specialist.

Why This Matters

Previously, employee email addresses in Culture Amp had to be globally unique across all accounts. This meant the same email (like mackenzie@acme.com) couldn’t exist in more than one account, creating friction for organizations with multiple Culture Amp instances.

This restriction has been lifted for organizations in the EAP. The same email address can now be used across multiple Culture Amp accounts, with each treated as a separate user profile. Each account may have different data, login methods, or passwords.

How to Sign In

If your email is linked to more than one Culture Amp account, follow the instructions below to ensure you’re accessing the right account when accessing Culture Amp.

Sign In Using Email and Password

  1. Start from your organization’s specific login link
This is the most reliable way to ensure you’re accessing the correct account.
    Example: https://brandA.cultureamp.com

Ask your Account Admin for your Culture Amp subdomain link if you're unsure.

  2. Avoid the generic login page
Going to id.cultureamp.com may sign you in to the most recently accessed account using your email rather than the one you are intending to access. This can cause confusion if you’re trying to access a different one.

  3. Be mindful of passwords
Even if your email is the same across accounts, your password may be different for each account. Use the password specific to the one you're signing into.

  4. Enter your email address and click Continue

  5. Enter your password and click Sign In

Note: If you attempt to sign in using a subdomain (e.g. brandA.cultureamp.com) where your email hasn’t been loaded, you’ll be redirected to the generic login page at id.cultureamp.com.

Sign In Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your company uses SSO:

  1. Use your SSO-specific login link
    This typically looks like:
    https://subdomain.cultureamp.com/saml/subdomain
Subdomain is typically replaced with your company name.

  2. Use the correct SSO link for each account
    If you're in multiple accounts:

    • Use https://brandA.cultureamp.com/saml/brandA to sign into Brand A

    • Use https://brandB.cultureamp.com/saml/brandB to sign into Brand B

  3. Ensure your email address matches

Your Culture Amp email must match your SSO identity. A mismatch may result in a 403 error.

Sign In Using Google

  1. Go to your organization’s specific Culture Amp login link
    Example: https://yourcompany.cultureamp.com

  2. Click Sign in with Google

  3. Ensure the email on your Google account matches the one used in your Culture Amp profile

Note: If your email exists in multiple accounts, using the generic login page (id.cultureamp.com) may direct you to the wrong one. Always use the account-specific link.

Using the Generic Login Page (id.cultureamp.com)

If you go to id.cultureamp.com, Culture Amp will:

  • Sign you in to the correct account if your email exists in only one Culture Amp account

  • Sign you in to the most recently accessed account if your email exists in multiple accounts

To access a different account, you’ll need to visit its specific subdomain (e.g. brandB.cultureamp.com). Once signed in, this new account becomes your default when using id.cultureamp.com.

How Survey and Notification Links Work

Most Culture Amp communications such as survey invitations or performance reminders include the account-specific subdomain in the link. This ensures that you're directed to the correct account, even if your email exists in more than one.

You typically won’t need to manually switch accounts when accessing Culture Amp through links in your inbox.

Troubleshoot Sign-In Issues

You Forgot Your Password

Reset your password by following the steps in our Reset Your Password guide.

If your email is linked to multiple accounts, the password reset applies only to the specific account you are attempting to access.

You Don’t Have a Password Yet

Follow the same reset steps to create a new password for your account. This creates a password for the specific account you’re trying to log into.

Your Account Is Locked

After five unsuccessful attempts, your account will be locked for one hour. Once the lock period has passed, click Forgot password? to reset and unlock it.

You’re Landing in the Wrong Account

Always start from the correct account subdomain (e.g. https://brandA.cultureamp.com) to ensure you’re signed into the intended account.
The generic login page (id.cultureamp.com) will default to the last account you accessed.

Issues with Sign-In Options

  • Check the preferred login method
    Your organization may require:

    • Email and password

    • SSO

    • Google

  • Check your login link
Always use the account-specific login URL provided by your Account Admin.

  • Verify your email address
Make sure your email is associated with the correct account. If unsure, contact your HR or IT team.

  • Clear your browser cache
Outdated or corrupted cache data can cause sign-in issues.

FAQs

Yes. You’ll automatically be signed out after 12 hours of inactivity for security reasons.

Why Does Culture Amp Log Me Out?

The 12-hour session limit improves security while reducing the need to log in repeatedly during your workday.

Do I Need to Sign In to Complete a Survey?

Usually, no. Survey links are account-specific and work without requiring sign-in.

If you receive a 403 error, try copying and pasting the full link into your browser. If that doesn’t work, your administrators may have enabled authentication for the survey. Contact them directly to check your access.
