Report Sections
The report is divided into two key sections to help you track feedback usage:
Feedback Overview: This section provides an overall summary of feedback activity, including total number of requests sent, requests completed, and completion % rate for requested feedback, alongside the total of unrequested feedback.
Feedback Trends Over Time: This section offers a monthly breakdown of both requested and unrequested feedback, allowing you to observe trends and patterns in feedback activity over different periods. The bar chart intervals are calculated based on your saved account timezone.
You can adjust the Report time frame
Filtering Your Report
Reports can be filtered by a single demographic type (e.g., Department). The demographic options available depend on which account demographics you have set up.
Once a demographic is selected, you can multi-select specific values within that type to narrow your focus. HRBPs can access reporting specifically scoped to the demographics they are assigned to manage.
Exporting Your Report
Admins and HRBPs can export data directly from the Anytime Feedback report view. To begin, click the Export button. Note that any active filters applied to your current report view will be included in the exported file.
Upon clicking Export, you will be prompted to select which data to include in your report. You can choose one of the following options:
Manager requested feedback: Export feedback content and metadata for requests triggered by managers.
Inactive managers: Identify managers who haven't been using Anytime Feedback so you can encourage them to jump in.
Inactive employees: Identify employees who haven't been using Anytime Feedback.

Key Metrics Available (Feedback Overview)
The Feedback Overview section provides essential metrics to understand the feedback dynamics within your organization. You'll be able to see:
Total feedback requests sent: The total number of times users have proactively asked for feedback.
Total feedback requests completed: The total number of feedback requests that have been successfully responded to.
Feedback request completion rate: This metric shows the percentage of requested feedback that has been provided.
Total "unrequested feedback": This refers to feedback that was given proactively by a user without being prompted by a request.
Understanding Requested vs. Unrequested Feedback
Anytime Feedback's reporting clearly distinguishes between requested feedback (feedback given in response to a specific request) and unrequested feedback (proactive feedback given without being prompted).
⚛️ Why is this important? Our data shows that requested feedback is 16% to 18% more effective than unrequested feedback. Encouraging your employees to actively request feedback can significantly enhance its impact.
FAQs
Question | Answer |
Can admins see the content of all feedback? | Admins can view the verbatim content of Manager-Requested Feedback (MRF) via an Employee's Profile or the exports button. However, peer-to-peer and unrequested feedback content remains private to the participants (and their managers, if selected) to maintain the integrity of the feedback culture. |
How does the reporting differ from Tracking?
| Reporting is used for high-level organizational monitoring by Admins and HRBPs (e.g., viewing company-wide completion rates). Tracking is a separate, actionable tool used by Managers to view verbatim responses, manage requests, and "close the loop" on specific outstanding Manager-requested feedback requests. |
