Receiving notifications

When you receive Anytime feedback, you’ll get both an email and an in-app notification. Clicking on either notification will take you directly to your feedback.

Responding to feedback

Once you’ve reviewed your feedback, you can engage in the following ways:

  • Like or comment: Show appreciation or ask questions by liking or commenting on the feedback. If you like or comment, the feedback sender will be notified.

  • Notifications: When you comment or like the feedback, the system will notify the person who provided it. This opens up a dialogue for deeper discussions. Great ways to engage include asking for context, suggestions, or inviting a follow-up conversation.

Sharing feedback

You can share your feedback with anyone in your organization, such as your manager or a colleague, especially if you’re seeking additional support or want to celebrate positive feedback. Here’s how:

  • Sharing from the Anytime feedback page: Navigate to the Feedback > Anytime feedback: Your feedback page. You’ll find a share icon next to each piece of feedback, allowing you to easily share it with others.

  • Sharing from feedback notification: After opening your feedback, click the share icon to share it with a colleague or manager.

When sharing, you can also add a note to provide context or explain why you're sharing the feedback.

Viewing feedback

  • Rate feedback usefulness: You can provide feedback on how useful the feedback was by clicking the Is this feedback useful? button. This helps refine future feedback quality.

Deep dive into skills

If your organization uses skill cards and skills were rated in the feedback, you’ll see the skill ratings at the bottom of the feedback. You can also explore your skills in more detail on your Skills summary page.

Default Visibility

Anytime feedback is private by default. Only you and the person who provided it can see it unless you choose to share it, or the feedback giver shares it with your manager (if this feature is enabled).

Manager access

If your organization has the Share with Manager feature enabled, you’ll be notified if the feedback was shared with your manager. The email, in-app notification, and feedback itself will clearly indicate this.

Note: If you get a new manager, Anytime feedback shared with your previous manager won’t automatically transfer to the new one. You’ll need to share it manually if you'd like them to have visibility.

Admin access

Admins cannot access anyone’s Anytime feedback except their own or feedback that was shared directly with them. There are only two cases where an admin could see another user’s feedback:

  • They’re the recipient’s manager, and the feedback was shared with them.

  • The recipient has manually shared the feedback with the admin.
