Managing 360 feedback processes for a large group of employees can be time-consuming. This guide will walk you through creating these processes in a single batch, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup.
Fill in the CSV Template
Start by filling in the coached or coachless CSV template with the employees, their coaches, and reviewers.
📌 Note: An employee cannot be assigned as their own manager, co-worker, direct report, or coach in their 360 process.
Employee Column (Mandatory):
Ensure you provide a valid email address for each employee. The email must be associated with an active user in your account.
If an employee isn’t active, add them as a new user first.
Coach Column (Mandatory for Coached Processes):
For coached surveys, a coach’s email address is required. This email must be linked to an active user in your account.
Only one coach email can be assigned per employee.
Reviewers: Manager, Co-worker, Direct Report Columns
Reviewers are optional. Leave any of these columns blank if not needed.
For multiple reviewers of the same type, separate email addresses with a semicolon (;).
Upload CSV Template for Validation
Before uploading, remove any instructional headers (e.g., "Mandatory" and "Optional") and data examples (e.g., employee@example.com) from the CSV template.
To upload your file, go to your Individual 360 surveys Process Manager page. Select Bulk Create 360s and choose the CSV file from your computer.
Once uploaded, the CSV will go through a validation process.
If there are any errors (e.g., a user doesn’t exist, or the same reviewer is listed twice for one 360), you will see a red validation failed error message.
Download Errors: Click Get File with Errors to export the file and check column A for details. Correct the errors and re-upload the file.
Confirm Creation of 360s
After successful validation, you can proceed to bulk create the 360s. Click Create draft 360s to finalize.
📌 Note: All 360s will initially be created as drafts. This means no emails will be sent to employees or reviewers, allowing you to safely prepare everything before any communication is triggered.
Once you’re satisfied with your drafts, you can:
Request Nominations: Allow employees to choose their reviewers.
Launch 360s: Start the feedback collection process.
