What can I learn from this page? | How to use variables to customise your survey communication emails |
Who is this guide for? | Account Admins, Survey Admins, Survey Creators |
A survey can contain a variable, or parameter such as %ACCOUNT_NAME%
, which is used to represent a word or phrase. The benefit of using a variable is that if a word or phrase changes (for example, the organization is re-named), the text can be updated in one place in Culture Amp, and all the survey questions and emails will automatically use the new term.
We also provide a range of variables in Communication Emails.
To insert variables into Communication Emails, you will need to navigate to the Survey's Configure > Communications page and click on any Communication Email available for that survey. Enable editing mode by clicking Edit Email. Once you are in editing mode you can view and insert variables into the Communication emails as per the below screenshot.
