The Hiring Bottleneck Page

The Hiring Bottleneck Insight page has two parts:

  1. Hiring bottleneck table

  2. Playbook

Main table

The table shows a list of candidates who have been stuck the hiring process. The candidates are grouped by the role they applied for, with the following information for each candidate:

  • Name of candidate

  • Stage in the hiring process where the candidates are stuck

  • Duration of time theyโ€™ve been in that stage compared to expected values (derived from historical data pulled from your ATS)

Playbook

At the bottom of the page, you can see the playbook, which suggests ways of combating hiring bottlenecks.

How is the Hiring Bottleneck Insight Calculated

Orgnostic first takes historical data from your ATS and determines the duration of each stage of the hiring process for a particular role.

From there, we go through open applications and check for outliers โ€” any candidates waiting in a particular stage significantly longer than expected.

Our algorithm also looks into whether there is enough historical data for a specific role at a particular location so that we can provide a better estimate of the time expected in a particular stage for that specific scenario.
