What can I learn from this page? | How to assign the role of a Survey Data Analyst to a user |
Who is this guide for? | Account Admins |
Quick Links:
A Survey Data Analyst is able to extract raw data from surveys for an account (where Raw Data Extracts have been enabled for a survey), and view an Audit Log of all raw data extracts that have been performed on surveys.
Other users in your organization can be given Survey Data Analyst access in Culture Amp. Account Administrators must assign the Survey Data Analyst role to a user. Make sure the people you want to become administrators are already loaded in as users.
To assign a Survey Data Analyst
click Settings button
click the Administrators menu
click View Role button next to Survey Data Analyst
click Add Administrator
use the Search box to type part of the person's name or email address
click Save button
An email is automatically sent to the new Survey Data Analyst, providing a link to set a password for Culture Amp (only if they don't already have a login).
The Survey Data Analyst will now be able to extract raw data and view audit logs for all surveys that have raw data extracts enabled, from the insights page of the survey:
To remove a Survey Data Analyst role
click Settings button
click the Administrators menu
locate the user in the list of Survey Data Analysts
click the 'trash' icon next to the User's name.
If the Survey Data Analyst role is removed from a person, they will no longer be able to extract raw data for surveys, but they retain any other admin permissions they have been granted.

NOTE: It is not possible to remove your own Survey Data Analyst role. Ask an Account Administrator, or contact support@cultureamp.com
