FAQs

Why do I see an "RDE too large" error?

If you encounter this error after enabling the Raw Data Extract option, it may be due to the size of your data. Simply reply with "Ask a Person" in a Support Conversation to connect with a Product Support Specialist, who can assist with adjusting your survey settings.

Why can't I see the option to download the raw data?

If the download option is not visible:

  1. Check if raw data was enabled before launch:

    • Go to the Surveys > Confidentiality tab.

    • Scroll to the bottom to see if the Raw Data Extract option is checked.

  2. If checked and you still can't export, you may not have the Survey Data Analyst role. Another Account Admin can assign it to you (they can't assign it to themselves).

Note: Raw data options cannot be enabled once the survey is live, so confirm settings before launching future surveys!

Will raw data extracts downloaded through the survey API appear in the survey’s Audit log?

No, only raw data extracts downloaded from the survey’s user interface will appear in the Audit log.
