Step-by-step guide for connecting your Humaans and People Analytics accounts.

Before you start

⚠️ Account requirements: you need access to a Humaans account with admin privileges to complete this task.

🚧 Caveat: third-party services and platforms may change the layout of their user interface and render this guide obsolete. Fetch API key from Humaans

  1. Log into your Humaans account.

  2. From the main navigation, click the “three dots” icon right from your profile picture

3. Then click the “API access tokens” link from the menu

4. Click the “Generate new token” button from the modal dialog

5. Now give it a meaningful name, “People Analytics” for example, and tick all the checkboxes.

6. You should get a key that looks similar to this: 488Z2PHWkUlDdUq3aWzal6DLkouRLGWv

7. Copy the key!


Enable Humaans Integration

1. In People Analytics, on the top right corner click on your name, then go to My Profile

2. At the bottom of the My Profile page you'll see the Connected Apps section. Choose Humaans and click Connect.

3. Paste your Humaans API key into the first field of the connection form.

4. Click Connect Humaans.

Your People Analytics profile is now connected with Humaans.


Story Metrics You’ll Get From Humaans

People Analytics will start fetching the data right away. The process will take a while to complete. Its duration varies depending on the number of things you track and their health.

Once it’s done, you will be all set to start exploring your people metrics. 🥳

In an ideal scenario, you'll be able to see metrics in different Story chapters such as Headcount, Diversity, Talent Management, Rewards, Turnover and Leadership. You can also activate automatic and diagnostic surveys in People Analytics to enrich your Culture, Team Effectiveness and Employee Wellbeing data.
