External feedback allows you to gather insights from individuals outside your organization, such as customers, vendors, partners, or consultants. This type of feedback is important for understanding performance and gaining perspectives that might not be visible internally.

Tip: External feedback can help you uncover unbiased insights, enriching your understanding of your performance and areas for improvement.

How to submit a request for external feedback

Click on the Feedback tab in the main menu.

Choose the Anytime feedback option from the dropdown.

Click on the External feedback tile to open the request page.

Fill in the full name and email address of the person you want feedback from.

Include a short introduction about yourself and the work you’ve done together.

Pose specific questions, such as:

  • "What am I doing well?” and

  • “What could I improve on?”

Check the terms and conditions box, then click Request feedback.

After you submit your request, the person you are requesting feedback from will receive an email notification.

Note: If the external person does not want to receive these emails and wishes to unsubscribe, they can reply with "Ask a Person" in a support conversation to get help from a Product Support Specialist.

When they click Give feedback, they will be prompted to complete the form and send their feedback.
