What is the Employee profile?

The employee profile compiles key content from across the Culture Amp platform related to a specific employee. This can include:

  • Feedback (from peers, managers, etc.)

  • Goals

  • Shoutouts

  • Self-reflections and manager reviews

  • Private notes and saved 1-on-1 content

  • Role competencies

  • External feedback

Note: The navigation pattern described below will initially be available for self-reflections. For manager reviews, peer feedback, and calibrations, this will be released in Q1 2025.

Navigating the Employee profile

The employee profile has a structured, three-level navigation system. Here's how it works:

Level 1: Landing page

When you open an employee's profile, you'll see an overview that includes the employee’s avatar and a list of content types related to them (e.g., feedback, goals, self-reflections, etc.).

Key features:

  • Each content type is clickable, allowing you to dive deeper into specific areas.

  • You can close the profile by clicking the X in the top-right corner.

  • To reopen the profile, click the Show profile button on the main page.

Level 2: View specific content types

When you select a content type from the Level 1 list (e.g., “Feedback”), you’ll be taken to a page that displays a chronological list of tiles. Each tile provides a snapshot of that content.

Key features:

  • Click a tile to see more details about that specific content.

  • You can return to the Level 1 landing page at any time by clicking the Home icon in the top-left corner.

  • To close the profile, click the X in the top-right corner.

You can switch between different content types (e.g., from Feedback to Goals) directly by clicking the arrow next to the section header. This allows you to jump between content types without going back to the landing page.

Level 3: View detailed information

Clicking a tile from Level 2 takes you to the detailed view of that specific content. This is where you can access the most in-depth information.

Key features:

  • Here, you'll see all the details about the content item (e.g., a goal, feedback, or self-reflection).

  • Some detailed views will include links to the originating source content. For example, clicking View all relationships in Goals opens a new tab to the full Goals product page.

  • To return to the previous page, click the Back Arrow in the top-left corner.

  • You can also close the profile by clicking the X in the top-right corner.

Additional tips

  • Quick navigation: Use the arrows next to content type headers to easily move between different sections within the employee profile without returning to the list view.

  • Returning to the landing page: No matter where you are within the profile, you can quickly return to the main list of content types by clicking the Home icon.

  • Contextual links: Many detailed views will include links to related content, allowing you to seamlessly explore relevant information.
