All unattributed surveys require participants to enter an authorization code when they click the survey link. The purpose of this step is to ensure it is a real person taking the survey, and not an automated process. If you want to send a survey link that bypasses this step (so participants don't need to enter the code manually), you can embed the code directly in the URL.
To set up the code
Click Configure button for a specific unattributed survey
Click Settings under the Survey Configuration heading
Type the code in the Authorization Code field
Click Update to save
Send a survey link that bypasses the authorization code
You can share an Unattributed survey link that bypasses the authorization code entry step entirely. Embed the code directly in the survey URL and participants will go straight to the Welcome Screen when they click the link, no manual code entry required.
First, find your authorization code by following the steps above, and find your survey link by heading to the Launch tab of your Survey Configuration and copying the URL there.
Just add &authorization_code=CODEHERE (replacing "CODEHERE" with your own code) to the end of the survey link, and the system will automatically use this code. For example, if your survey link was:
https://cultureamp.cultureamp.com/adhoc/account?code=54f5eb27db4d085bc200076d
Code: abcd
You can make your link:
https://cultureamp.cultureamp.com/adhoc/account?code=54f5eb27db4d085bc200076d&authorization_code=abcd
Tip: If your survey has languages enabled, you can also configure the URL so that it automatically opens in one of these languages! You would just need to add &locale=language code.
As an example, the below URL would automatically apply the code for the participant, and would open in French!
