Overview

If you're using Goals, the Employee Usage reports offer a comprehensive view of goal activity within your organization. These reports provide valuable insights into goal creation, usage, and progress across teams, making it easier to track and manage goal alignment.

Accessing the Usage Reports

There are three key reports available to administrators:

To access the usage reports:

  1. Navigate to Goals from the Goals drop-down menu.

  2. Click on the reporting icon next to the Create goal button.

Goal Usage Report

The Goal Usage Report gives you a detailed usage report with goal types, owners, statuses, completion rate, and a list of employees without goals. To download this report:

  1. Click Export report (.csv) to generate the report.

  2. A modal will appear with a pre-filled due date (covering the past 2 years) and Company selected in the Group drop-down.

Important Notes:

  • You can adjust the date range to suit but it cannot exceed two years.

  • The date range filters by the goals' 'due date.' It does not filter by the 'created date' or 'published date.'

  • Use the search field to select specific groups. You can select only one group at a time, based on your organization’s structure.

Through the Goal Creation Report, you can:

  • View how many goals have been created within a team

  • See the percentage of employees with goals

  • Track the total number of goals created, including participation rates

Click + Add Filters to filter the report by due date, goal type or account demographics such as location, department etc.

Additionally, use the View by drop-down menu to sort goals by team, department, or company (groups available on your Org Structure page).

To export the Goal Creation Report:

  2. The exported file will include the following fields:

Goal Progress Report

The Goal Progress Report helps admin users track how active goals are progressing—right in the platform, with no need for manual exports or analysis. It provides a high-level view of goal progress across teams, helping you monitor alignment and identify where support may be needed.

At the top of the report, you’ll see a summary of overall progress:

  • Total Progress – The combined percentage progress of all active goals

  • Goal Status – A percentage breakdown of goals marked as On track, At risk, Off track, or Completed

You can also view goal progress by demographic using the Group by filter. This lets you break down the report by any level of your organization’s structure (e.g. department, team).

The report includes the following columns for each group:

  • Total employees – Number of employees in that group

  • Number with a goal – Employees with active goals progressing against key results

  • % on track – Percentage of goals currently marked as On track

  • % at risk – Percentage of goals marked as At risk

  • % off track – Percentage of goals marked as Off track

  • % completed – Percentage of goals that have been completed

To export the Goal Progress Report:

  1. Click Export to download the report.

  2. The exported file contains the same fields as shown in the table.
