Overview

This article covers standard communications that Culture Amp Performance users can receive.

Email is the primary method for all communications. Specific communications are deliverable via Slack or Microsoft Teams, depending on your account configuration.

πŸ“Œ Note: To enable or disable Performance notifications (Email/Microsoft Teams/Slack), Performance Admins should contact our Culture Amp Support team via email at support@cultureamp.com or reply with Ask a Person to speak with a specialist during a chat conversation. Typical turnaround time is 3-4 business days.

What to Expect:

The following screenshot provides an example of what to expect from e-mail communications coming from Culture Amp Performance:

  • Reminders are triggered at 3PM UTC. This has been determined as the best time to accommodate all customers that utilize our platform.

  • Performance based communications cannot be manually triggered from the platform. They are sent automatically according to the cadence set below.

  • Performance based communications cannot be customised.

  • Invites are sent in five minute increments, and may be sent in 'batches' versus all at once.

Goals Digest Enabled

If the Goals Digest is enabled, only the "Added as goal owner" notification will be sent independently through all enabled communication channels (Email, MS Teams, Slack). All other action-related notifications will be included in the Goal Digest email as detailed here.

Goals Digest Disabled

  • Direct Report creates or accomplishes a goal

πŸ“Œ Note: If you add employees to a Performance Review cycle after it's started and the Manager review part has begun, the manager won't get the first email invite. Instead, they'll receive a task in the platform and any follow-up reminder emails. More details on when notifications are sent below:

  • For Collaborators: If a cycle is scheduled, and a collaborator is added, they'll still get real-time notifications.

  • For Manager Reviews: Due date reminder calculation only counts weekdays.

  • For Peer & Upward Feedback: Due date reminder calculation includes weekends (calendar days)
