Account Admins

Within Culture Amp, you have the flexibility to designate Survey Administrators, granting them access to specific surveys without providing full access to all surveys and account-level settings like an Account Administrator.

Before you begin, ensure that the individuals you wish to assign as Survey Administrators are already set up as users. The great news is, there's no restriction on the number of Survey Administrators you can appoint for your surveys. This guide will walk you through the process of assigning, understanding the role types, and even removing Survey Administrator access.

How to assign the Survey Administrator role

  1. Click Edit Survey for a specific survey on your Surveys page

  2. Click Administrators > Add Administrator

  3. Use the Search box to type part of the person's name or email address

  4. Check Overall or Support Only (hover over each option to read details)

  5. Click Save

An email is automatically sent to the new Survey Administrator, providing a link to set a password for Culture Amp (only if they don't already have a login).

Survey Administrator role types

There are two levels of survey administrator role options (Overall and Support only):

  • Overall: provides access to all administrative and reporting functions for the survey. This includes survey editing and archiving, adding and removing administrators and access to all reports. It also includes viewing and sharing survey demonstrations

  • Support only: Provides access to all support functions for this survey. Survey invitation emails can be reissued to certain users, and survey responses can be reset to allow a participant to complete the survey again.

How to remove a Survey Administrator role

  1. Click Edit Survey for a specific survey on your Surveys page

  2. Click Administrators

  3. Locate the user in the list, or use the Search box to type part of the person's name or email address

  4. Click the user's name in the list

  5. Un-check Overall, Support Only or both.

  6. Click Update

Note:

  • No email is sent advising removal of Survey Administrator functions.

  • It is not possible to remove your own Survey Administrator role or another's Account Administrator role. Ask another Survey Administrator, an Account Administrator, or contact support@cultureamp.com.
