Who can use this feature?

Available on:

  • All Culture Amp subscriptions that include Engagement or Effectiveness (Manager and Team Effectiveness surveys).

Culture Amp are able to help you import your custom inspiration translations in bulk for a particular survey where reports are available in multiple languages. Without the inspiration translation task being completed, report viewers assigned to a supported locale other than our default “en” won’t see any of the inspirations in their view

You'll first need to follow the Guide for bulk importing Inspirations process. Once completed, just reply with "Ask a Person" in a Support Conversation to speak with a Product Support Specialist and ask for the Inspiration Translation export.

The file provided will be similar to the inspiration export, but each additional locale will have its own tab within the spreadsheet, where you'll populate the translated text in the respective column; example below:

Once the translations have been populated, send the file back to Product Support. We'll then be in touch with the next steps.

Tip: If you'd like machine translations you can use GoogleSheets "GOOGLETRANSLATE" function. Learn more about GOOGLETRANSLATE.

Copy the contents of the translation file we provide you with into GoogleSheets and use the function displayed below to translate the text in each required cell. Download as an .xlsx file and send back to us.

To get started, the English version is already populated in one cell, so in the relevant "Translated......." cell use the formula =GOOGLETRANSLATE(cell with text, “source language”, “target language”) to translate it. You can even drag the fill handle at the bottom of the formula cell down to apply this formula to more than one cell.
