Creating a Participation report

Track team participation in live surveys with a Participation report.

Who can use this feature?

  • Account Admin, Survey Admin, Survey Creators

Available on:

  • All Culture Amp subscriptions that include Engagement or Effectiveness (Manager and Team Effectiveness surveys).

Want to give managers real-time access to track their team’s participation in a live survey without revealing responses? Creating a participation report is a great solution.

Create a Participation report


Navigate to the Surveys configuration page

  • From your surveys configuration page, click the Sharing tab.

Start creating a filtered report

  • Click Create a filtered report.

Configure report details

  • Update the title: Enter a title for your report.

  • Add a description (optional): Provide any additional context to clarify the report’s purpose.

Select an anchor demographic

  • Choose the anchor demographic from the drop-down menu to filter your report by specific groups (e.g., People Leader).

Choose the report type

  • Select the Summary report type: This will provide a simple breakdown of participation.

  • Leave the Simplified insights box unchecked: If you want to concentrate exclusively on participation rates, keep this option disabled.

Enable additional filters (optional)

If you want to provide Report Viewers with demographic breakdowns of participation, toggle on the Enable filtering in reports option and select the demographic(s) you want to include (e.g., Department).

Create and preview your report
