Available on:

  • All Culture Amp subscriptions that include Engagement or Effectiveness (Manager and Team Effectiveness)

Perhaps someone was on leave and is begging to participate in the survey? Sure, no problem. You can reopen the survey from the Surveys Launch Plan page. We don't recommend you reopen a survey once results have been shared, though, due to confidentiality risks. If employees know who submitted their survey late, then they may also be able to work out how that person responded by seeing how the scores have changed.

To reopen a Survey

  1. Click Edit survey on the Surveys page

  2. Click on the Launch Plan page

  3. Click Reopen survey

FAQs

Is it possible to reopen a survey for specific participants only?

No, surveys cannot be reopened for specific participants only. When a survey is reopened, it is opened for all participants:

  • Submitted responses: Responses submitted before the survey was closed remain unchanged, unless a participant decides to reset their response.

  • Unsubmitted responses: Participants who haven’t submitted their responses will have the opportunity to do so.

Are employees notified when a survey reopens?

No notification is automatically triggered when a survey is reopened.

Why are participants reporting a 'Survey Closed' error even though the survey is open?

If a participant is reporting a "Survey Closed" error on a live survey, you can troubleshoot the issue with these steps:

  • Check the Participants Tab: Verify that the employee is selected as a participant on the survey. If they aren't, make sure to select and confirm them as a participant, and have them try again through the new link they receive.

  • Confirm the Link: Ask the participant to copy and paste their unique link from their invitation directly into their browser, or find the survey on their account's task list.

  • Clear Browser Data: Advise the participant to clear the cookies and cached data on their internet browser and try again.

  • Check Survey Status: Confirm that the survey is definitely not archived or closed.
