Send and schedule reminders for Attributed (Snapshot) Surveys like Engagement, customize emails and set reminders.

About Survey Reminders


When launching an Engagement or another type of Attributed (Snapshot) survey, you can send reminders to participants who haven’t submitted their responses. You can schedule these reminders during setup or add additional reminders after your survey has launched.

Note: If you have a Slack or Microsoft Teams integration, reminders will also be sent via those channels. Microsoft Teams messages are not customizable.

Customize Reminder Emails


Survey reminder emails include a Subject, Message, and Footer, which you can edit in the Communications settings of your survey. The email layout, formatting, and colors cannot be changed, but you can update the logo used across your account.

Tip: Emails are sent from notifications@cultureamp.com. Ask your IT team to Add Culture Amp to your allow list Culture Amp to prevent emails from being marked as spam.

Schedule First and Final Reminders


You can schedule first, final, and additional reminders for your survey. By default, you will see the option to set 1 first reminder and 1 final reminder. If you would like to schedule more, this is also possible.

How to Schedule Reminders

  1. Go to the Launch Plan page in Survey Configuration.

  2. In the First Reminder and Final Reminder sections, select a date using the calendar pop-up.

  3. Adjust the time for the email to be sent, if needed.

  4. If you need to schedule additional reminders, click + add reminder in the first reminders section and repeat the process.

  5. Click Launch Survey.

Tip: Preview the reminder text before scheduling. Be sure to enter a survey closure date, as it will be displayed in the reminder email.

Send Additional Reminders


Once the survey is live and the first or final reminder has been sent, you will have the option to re-send these. Click Send New Reminder next to the required reminder on your launch plan, which will re-send it to all unsubmitted participants.

A maximum of 52 total reminders can be scheduled and sent for the survey.

Why is there a limit? To avoid email blacklisting, which could prevent employees from receiving survey emails

Important: Additional reminders use the same text configured for the First or Final Reminder Communication and are sent only to participants who haven’t completed the survey.


FAQ's


Which survey types can additional reminders be scheduled for?

You can schedule additional reminders for any snapshot/attributed surveys. This includes Engagement surveys, as well as Manager Effectiveness and Team Effectiveness (180) surveys.

Additional reminders are not available for Unattributed surveys, Onboarding/Exit surveys, or Individual and Leadership Effectiveness (360) surveys.

If I forgot to schedule additional reminders before launch, can I schedule them while the survey is live?

Yes! If your final reminder has not yet been sent, you can access your Launch Plan and click 'Edit Schedule'. This will allow you to schedule additional reminders before the final one is due by clicking + add reminder.

If the final reminder has already been sent, you will not be able to schedule additional reminders, but can resend the final reminder by clicking send new reminder.
