Open a shared calibration view and you’ll automatically see the facilitator’s current filters, columns, and sort order, exactly as they have them set. There’s nothing you need to do, and nothing the facilitator needs to save or share.
The view stays in sync automatically. Whatever filters, columns, and sort order the facilitator has set on Calibration overview or Respond to ratings is what everyone else sees when they open that same page.

Know whether you're following the facilitator or on your own
You're always in one of two states on a shared calibration view:
Following: you see the facilitator's current filters, columns and sort order, refreshed every time you open the page. This is the default starting point on a shared view (unless you already had your own setup before this behavior became available, see below).
On your own: you see your own filters, columns and sort order instead. This starts the instant you personally change any one of them, whether that's picking a different filter, changing the sort, or showing or hiding a column.
Once you're on your own, your changes are kept automatically. You don't need to save anything yourself, and you'll see the same filters and sort again the next time you open the page, even from a different device.
If you're on your own, the facilitator's later changes stop reaching you. To pick up their current setup again, use Reset view (see below).
If you already had your own filters, sort order or columns set up on this page before this behavior became available on your account, you're on your own already, since you'd already made a change of your own. You can move to following the facilitator's setup at any time with Reset view.
What happens when you change only one filter, the sort, or a column
Change just one filter, the sort order, or a column, and your whole page moves onto your own setup, not just that single item.
What happens to the other two depends on whether you'd actually picked them up from the facilitator before you made your change:
Already picked up from the facilitator: if you were following when you opened the page, and the facilitator's setup covered a given filter, the sort order, or a column, that value stays exactly as it was at the moment you made your change.
Never picked up from the facilitator: if you hadn't opened the page while still following, or the facilitator's setup didn't cover a given filter, sort order or column at the time, that item goes back to the page's own standard setup instead of taking on whatever the facilitator has now.
In practice, this means changing one filter doesn't visibly reset your columns or sort right away, since they stop tracking the facilitator's setup from that point on rather than changing on the spot.
The next time you open the page, anything you never actually picked up from the facilitator shows the page's standard setup rather than the facilitator's latest choice.
Reset view: go back to the facilitator's current setup
Reset view sits beside the page heading, on both Calibration overview and Respond to ratings. It isn't part of the filter bar.
Grayed out: you're following the facilitator, so you have nothing personal to reset yet.
Available: you're on your own, having changed a filter, the sort order, or a column, so there's something Reset view can bring you back from.
Selecting Reset view clears your personal filters, sort order and column choices together, all at once, and returns you to following the facilitator's current setup. It updates your view right away, without reloading the page.
If you change a filter, the sort order, or a column again afterward, you move on your own again and Reset view becomes available again in the same way.
💡 Tip: Selecting Reset view only changes your own view. It has no effect on the facilitator's setup or on anyone else who is following it.
Calibration overview and Respond to ratings work independently
Calibration overview and Respond to ratings each have their own, completely separate version of this behavior. Following, going on your own, and resetting on one has no effect on the other.
If you have access to both, for example as an observer and a calibrator on the same view, you can be in different states on each. You might be following the facilitator's setup on Calibration overview while you're on your own on Respond to ratings, or the other way around.
Column choices stay on the browser you're using
Filters and sort order follow you wherever you log in. Column choices, meaning which columns are shown or hidden, do not.
Column choices are remembered by the specific browser you're using, not by your account. If you open the same view on a different computer, or a different browser on the same computer, your filters and sort order carry over, but your columns show the page's standard set again rather than the choice you made elsewhere.
If you regularly switch between devices or browsers, you'll need to set your columns again the first time you use a new one.
Some facilitator-only settings don't reach calibrators
On Respond to ratings, a few settings that a facilitator has available on Ratings preview don't carry across to calibrators, for reasons specific to each one. For exactly which settings this affects and why, see Facilitator Guide: How to Use Ratings Preview.

The setup belongs to the view itself, not to any one facilitator. Whichever facilitator's changes were saved most recently is what gets shared with everyone else.

Yes, following, going on your own, and Reset view all work the same at every stage of a calibration view. This doesn't change any of the access rules already tied to a view's stage, for example a published view stays read-only for the same reasons it always has.
