This guide outlines the standard notifications Culture Amp Performance users receive in the performance experience. While email is the primary communication method, certain notifications can also be delivered via Slack or Microsoft Teams, depending on your account setup.

With the introduction of Unified Performance Cycles, which combine Self-Reflections, Manager Reviews, Peer Feedback, and Upward Feedback into a single streamlined process, notifications are now aligned to support this recommended setup.

Managing Notifications

To enable or disable notifications, Performance Admins should reply with "Ask a Person" in a Support Conversation to connect with a Product Support Specialist. The typical response time is 3-4 business days.

What to Expect

  • Automatic delivery: Notifications cannot be manually triggered from the platform. They are sent automatically based on the cadence below.

  • Reminders for incomplete actions: Reminders are only sent to users who haven’t completed their assigned tasks.

  • Customizable emails: You can tailor email communications to match your organization’s style. However, Slack and Microsoft Teams notifications cannot be customized at this time—but future updates will provide more flexibility.

  • Batched delivery: Invitations are sent in five-minute increments, meaning they may be delivered in small groups rather than all at once.
