Who can use this feature?
Available on:
All Culture Amp subscriptions that include Engagement (excluding Onboarding/Exit Surveys) or Effectiveness
Culture Amp’s Action Framework is a set of tools that helps individuals, teams, and managers turn employee feedback into meaningful action. It empowers people to act confidently and effectively by making it easy to:
Identify focus areas that will have the most impact
Decide on next steps, with inspiration from other customers and our 40,000+ member People Geek community
Drive action without needing to rely solely on HR or senior leadership
Gather feedback from their team on the actions taken
How it Works
1. Share Reports
HR leaders can share reports directly in the platform. This gives managers and teams access to feedback so they can start identifying areas for improvement.
2. Identify Areas for Impact
Once reports are shared, managers and teams can use the Focus Agent to identify which focus areas have the greatest potential for positive change.
For 360 surveys, employees can also review their own reports and highlight key strengths and opportunities by flagging items in their feedback.
3. Create Actions
After choosing focus areas, use the Inspiration Engine to explore ideas from other customers and the People Geek community. This makes it easier to decide which actions will have the most impact.
4. Gather Feedback
About a month after implementing actions, managers can use Action Feedback to check in with their team and measure whether the actions are making a difference (not available for 360 Effectiveness surveys).
Viewing and Managing Actions
To access your actions, go to the Action Plans tab. Here you’ll find:
Your actions: Actions you’ve created from Engagement or Effectiveness surveys
Company actions: Actions created by others on reports shared with you
All actionable reports: Reports where you can view or create actions
FAQs
How can I disable the Action framework?
Admins can disable the Action Framework for specific shared reports by unchecking the Take Action option in the report configuration. When Take Action is disabled:
The Take Action button will not appear in the left-hand menu of detailed reports.
The Take Action section will not be visible at the bottom of summary reports.
